S800 Road & Track June 2007 Issue
Hi All,
I just got my June 2007 issue of Road & Track and on page 63 is a
sketch of a yellow S800 "a more civil and comfortable car".
It is a replacement (for S2000) expected to appear in 2009.
"the S2000 will finally bid the world sayonara at the end of the year"
Sorry, I don't have a scanner to post the picture, but I'm sure soneone
here will be able to post it.
I'm thrilled to have purchased one of the last of the REAL sports cars!!!

PS I just bought my 2007 less than 30 days ago because I heard the S2000
was coming to an end. I think the CR version kind of sounds the "closing
bell" as well for the S2K.

Here it goes excuse my typing.
HONDA S800
One of the purest sports cars in the market place is Honda's S2000.
Born from racing technology and bred to conquer corners, the S2000 is nirvana
on the race track. Unfortunately for people who spend their time on crowded
roads, the Honda sports car's high -revving nature and stiff ride quality make
it the ultimate penalty box. With sales dipping with each passing fiscal year,
the S2000 will finally bid the world sayonara at the end of this year. Its
replacement is expected to appear in 2009.

I guess you don't understand. These reports have been coming out since before the S2000 was even built. Yes, someday one of the rumors will be correct. But there's no telling when that day might be.
