Default VIDEO/STORY S2000 Wreck

Well it has been years now since this has happened, and I now feel comftorable to share the video online and share my .02 on keeping it safe. As somee may know, a member of the board and I took a little cruise around and decided to get some video messing around on the street. To keep the story short: He lost control at around 60mph, hit a tree, then the car rolled several times. Both of us were wearing our seatbelts, so we were fortunate to walk away with our lives.

Though I still feel some effects from that night, I am very happy to be alive and kickin! I guess the moral of this is everyone think twice before messing around on the street, always buckle up, and don't take your friends/loved ones for granted..because all of that can change in a split second.

Take care everyone.

Video(up to the point where we "kissed" the tree):

Holy crap, that give me chills watching it. I've done the spin into the tree but not nearly as bad as that. Wow. Thank god you guys are ok! Thanks for sharing. Did just blipping the throttle spin it? Cold tires?

Hmm, that shout at the end brought back my memories from my crash about 2 months ago. Its crazy cause in that time you know your screwed.

I agree about not messing around in the street. My accident happend due to a pile of firewook on the highway which resulted in me going into a wall at 60mph. I hope others will share the experience you had that night and will think twice before attempting something crazy.

My cousin keeps reminding me how this car is "serious business". This stuff humbles me to no end. I'm glad you're okay.

Thanks for sharing, that video makes me really respect the power our cars possess. It also brought back memory of my crash last year. I was driving my 325i going around corners real quick and ended spinning into a curb when i hit a ditch. I agree with everyone about not messing on the streets, take it to a track if you want to push your car to the limit.

Good video OP! Eeery to hear the scream at the end.

I've seen some very horific accidents and we all need to remember the S2000 is a VERY capable car.
