bumping this up... I installed an2ny's OEM setup tonight and we found something interesting...

The '06 suspension was w/o top hats so we used his existing ones obviously... then when working on the rear I kept on having issues with the shock not lining up correctly when the spring was correctly lined up with the indentations on the bottom of the top hat. Turns out '06 (and I'm assuming '07) rear springs have one more coil than '04 rear springs (the coil ends in a different spot, causing the misalignment)

Interesting. Has anyone else dealt with this? We got everything buttoned back up w/o other issues but this leads me to ask the question of whether or not '06-'07 rear springs share the same rates as other AP2's...

Hey Bill, thanks again
The car actually feels like new!
Anyways, do you know if the front springs are different than the rears? Now that I think about it I believe the front ones are longer

Bighead,
Yes, you are right,
I just checked my old springs AP2 04 and the (fronts and rears) have the same number or coils 7, and the ones that we installed on the rear from the AP2 06 had 8 coils.
So yes the 04 and 06 rear Springs are in fact different.
