I have the Eibach Pro Kit and i have almost no tire gap. It is suppose to be a 1" drop. The black plastic pieces on the front bumper already scrape when driving over speed bumbs and if your not careful you will scrape the frame. So if i was you i would get nothing lower than 1 inch. I only paid like $260 and i am very happy with the springs.

when people ask what type of springs, I normally joke and say cut your OEM springs, but it seems the OP has beat me to it.

Get coilovers... you will ruin you car by cutting your springs... and most will argue that springs will ruin the car aswell.

if you cut the springs you might as well cut your wrist while your at it cause that is one of the dumbest things you can do and you risk hurting the car. Just get some springs and then see if you can sell your OEM springs and there you go
