Around 11 this morning, I got a call on my cell phone and I didn't recognize the number. On the second ring I answered. The only words spoken were, "The eagle has landed, when do you want to pick it up." Alright, I thought my car is finally here!!! I made plans to go get the car when all of sudden I received a second call...

My salesman had called back to tell me that the car that came in today was actually the silver/*RED* that they were also expecting! Mine will hopefully be in tomorrow or Thursday....

 

Whew. . .for a second there, I thought they changed the deal or something! Stay away from the ALL RED interior. It will cause blindness after a few weeks!

The "all red" fits my personality! (not sure what that says about ME ) and TODAY is my 3 month S2K anniversary and I have not gotten BLINDED -- or bored -- yet! )

HOWEVER, I am glad you're still getting the car you ordered (at least they didn't say it's NOT coming!) You'll get it after this rainy weather and in time for great weekend weather! Keep us posted on your status.

 

.....exactly the same thing happened to me

Except in November no one knew what the all RED interior looked like. So imagine my surprise when I went to pick up my car and instead of the tasteful red/black interior , it was all red. I know it works for some people, but it just doesn't work for me. My salesperson had promised a Silver/black to a guy from Florida, but he called him and told him he needed to sell "local" so I got my Silver/black.
