nice. i so regret not getting a clear bra. my hood and fenders look like the craters of the moon now after 13000 miles. i'll def need a respray after this winter. you hardly see it as well. good investment.
I had a custom job done on my 07 which covered 80% of the hood, fenders, headlights & lip in addition to the mirrors, strakes, and the fenders behind the front and rear wheels. More than anything, the clear bra is piece of mind. I'd gotten the clear material put everywhere I remember my 02 having chips.
Best mod i've ever done. The guy who installed mine wrapped it around all corners and edges, so it's seamless. Very happy w/ the result.
Cool. We've had the 3M Xpel clear bra put on all three of our cars the past five or six years... it's great!!! As you mention, it gives peace of mind when you do a lot of highway driving.
My only gripe is the installer for my S2K only did an 'OK' job since you can see a real small bubble on the hood, and after 30K miles there is now a little dirt trapped around the edges of the Xpel way down low in the front of the car. My wife thinks I'm being too picky; but hey, it is my S2K, and the XPEL installation wasn't cheap.

Is the dirt trapped on the edges or is the film starting to lift, and as for the bubble see if the installer can correct it or have him replace it. You have a warranty and any good installer will fix the problem especially if it is due to poor installation he should stand behind his work.
I have been an installer for 3 years and if the film is lifting your installer should replace it no questions asked. I know I would. This stuff isn't cheap.
If the dirt seems to be gathering on the edges take a soft terry or microfiber towel and some Plexus or try using soapy water and gently scrub to remove the dirt build up along the edges.
