Xpel now offers a kit that will cover the entire hood and fenders. Mucho dollars.

Nice install!

I had a custom job done on my 07 which covered 80% of the hood, fenders, headlights & lip in addition to the mirrors, strakes, and the fenders behind the front and rear wheels. More than anything, the clear bra is piece of mind. I'd gotten the clear material put everywhere I remember my 02 having chips.

Best mod i've ever done. The guy who installed mine wrapped it around all corners and edges, so it's seamless. Very happy w/ the result.

i have the same GPW (btw love yours )

i was wondering which type of 3M you put on... one of my vendor told me that white, red, and black cars seem best with venture (i think more expensive too).

seems like most people sell scotchgard

also, could you take pics of where you got ur custom clear bra installed on?
like ur rear fenders and strakers, etc..

thx!

i dont fully understand this. its kinda of like wrapping your remote control in saran wrap. at that kind of cost level, wouldn't it be easier to take the damage and have a body shop repaint it?

Hahaha... I had a few friends who wrapped their remotes in saran wrap. Never understood it.

But coming back to the clear bra. Within my first 6 weeks I had a number of paint chips. This is my first experience with a clear bra, but since I wanted to keep my car in as nice condition as possible, I thought I'd give it a try.

I thought about the cost factor vs. repainting but I really don't think I'd want to go through the hassels and worries of respraying (ie..color matching, quality, cost).

The guy who installed mine said that if I care for it properly, even though it has only a five year warrenty, I should be able to get 7 years out of it.
