For those that wants to install their own alarm or stereos!!

I looked for this on here awhile back and didn't find the information. I post a question on 12volt.com and got some web links that can help us DIY installers.

I have yet to use either, I am still in the process of designing and gathering parts for my alarm and stereo.

Hope it helps others!

Good Luck,
Herbert

There's stuff on my page about the stereo color codes, but nothing on alarms yet. Pick up a Helm's Manual if you can't find what you need on the web...

Actually, I had that problem too. The doorlock module is designed to accept the OEM alarm harness which makes the actuation of them different from all other Honda's. Basically, what you need to do is to purchase some pins and directly tap two open spaces on the harness to make it work without having to cut the wires and installing relays. I can't remember which pins you have to plug the two wires into off the top of my head, but just do a circuit test to figure out which one's you can tap.

The trunk is simple, you have to wire in a relay to convert the 12 volt positive signal into a negative ground.
