Default Alarm & Remote Keyless Entry Diagram

Does anyone have a functional and/or wiring diagram for the Remote Keyless Entry System with Alarm on a 2000 S2K.

The Electronic Troubleshooting manual has all the wiring diagrams. If you have a specific question I will try to answer it, but the diagrams are 4 full pages - too much to give a description of and I'm not one to publish copyrighted material on the web. (i.e. scans of the pages)

You might see if an owner near you has the manual or check with your dealer. Sometimes if you have a good relationship with your service manager they'll let you take a look at their shop manuals. Mine does.

Modifry, does the manual illustrate which pin from the alarm could be used to drive a siren? The alarm is common across multiple Hondas and supports a siren, but the S2000 doesn't include wiring for it, so it may or may not exist in the S2000 electrical diagrams. I've toyed with the idea of adding one, and would need to figure this out first.

Modifry, where is this manual available. I've seen CD Based manuals on eBay. Have you heard anything about them, their effectiveness and/or overal quality?

Pin 18 of the security control unit (an orange wire ORN) appears to supply a ground to the ground side of the horn relay circuit to latch the horn relay. If you use that pin to supply ground to another relay to power a siren, you could get the effect that you want. You need to do this near the security control unit, before the connection to the keyless door control unit. There are several other devices attached to this wire that also beeps the horn before the security control unit: the keyless door lock and the usual horn button on the steering wheel. I don't recall that the security unit activates the horn separately except as an alarm device.
