Difference between an AP1 and an AP2 dash is basically layout. That being said, unless someone is willing to part with their AP2 dash for a couple of days (or I'm lucky enough to find one on eBay for a reasonable price), well... conversion would be based solely upon the goodwill of a local AP2 owner willing to take his dash apart and let me take measurements and do multiple test fits.
