Im torn between the ContiSport 3's and the Bridgestone RE01R's. Price is almost identical with the Conti's having a higher treadwear life. I'm not sure whether the Bridgestone's are worth the extra money & shorter life.

Just curious if anyone has tried the Conti 3's yet?

 

I ran several conti 2 and they are nothing but a glorified touring tire. Hopefully the 3 is better.

 

I just got done testing the Contact3 this week. While it is better than the Contact2 I would not put it in the same category as the RE-01R. The RE-01R is more of a competition tire for the street. No nonsense performance for people who push the envelope.

be careful, the wear ratings are arbitrary and there is no standard for this. a 460 bridgestone could last longer than a 280 yokohama ect.
