Default Racelogic Traction Control installed

I've been procrastinating on putting on the Racelogic traction control. I had a loose Comptech ESM wire and the car was a nightmare while I figured out what was wrong. I'm loathe to fk up anything while the car is running soooo well. But Winter is coming and I know I won't be able to resist driving it a little bit....

So I have a day off with not much to do.... going to bite the bullet and do the install.

Any and all encouragement welcome.

Go for it!
Having read the manual and fitting intructions it looks easy!
Get the launch control option as well!
Once I have done the upgrade to my charger I'm going to have a go at this!

Did some wire splicing and mapped out which wires and harnesses to access. I'm thinking about waiting for a rainy day to finish it up... it's too nice out and I want to go driving.....

love to hear how this turns out, the product web page looks extremely intriguing.

btw, ckit: you on audiworld? one of your rs4 pics looks really familiar.

i had a few audis (a4, tt225r, b6 S4) but still lurk on off-topic.

so i guess this racelogic tcs system is a lot more necessary if you're FI.

There are lot of noobs in NA cars wiping out in the rain... but yes, even more important with FI and snow.

Did you install it?? I've been checking it out the past couple days, and it seems like a cool setup, I think it would be interesting to see paired up with an aftermarket LSD to really even distribute power between the wheels better.

I'm interested to hear more about this unit in the S. I think I'll go use the nice new search and see if there are any other threads that I missed.

I always liked the racelogic unit, unfortunately im pretty sure that if you add it to an obd2 vehicle you get CELs out the ass when it kicks in. I assume you're running an AEM EMS so you likely wont have to worry about that.
