I'm still waiting for delivery. Any day now.

Can't you tell I'm bored... making up this list?

I'm OK if it ends up in the FAQ. Maybe it can help new buyers what to look for?

Make sure the front lisence plate frame is not installed and you have a set of the plastic plugs to cover the holes.

OK I added that and "no dealer insignia"

The primary goal of my list is to catch any damage to the car that could be blamed on you later, or any serious problems that would need addressed before you drive the car very far. I've already made it clear to my dealer that there will be no front license plate or dealer insignia.

I thought maybe if anybody found some damage or problems with the car right after delivery, they could add it to the list as important things to check for.

Make DAMN sure the dealer has

1) Removed the spring spacers (inserted for shipping, often forgotten to be removed)

2) Done your Spark-Plug TSB upon delivery. (Save yourself a trip)

I'd add the following:

Instruct Dealer to NOT put your keys and keyless entry remotes on one of their key rings. Tell them to give them to you in a bag loose.

If the dealer uses stiff key rings, they may scratch the heck out of the plastic.
