taking off door
is there any instructions on how to take off the door? i see there are 2 hinges and the slider that adds some friction and limit to the door swing. the thing is how do i disconnect the wiring(black slinky thing) so i can take the whole door off.
want better access to the door and front fender to pop out creases.

You will need to remove the inner door panel to access the wiring. Before you can do that, you must remove the arm rest, several screws, and a special plastic connector or two, and then the panel pops off. Disconnect the wiring to the window switches (and mirror if driver's side) and set the panel aside. Next, peel the plastic that seals the door - be careful, the sealant is very sticky - and you will now be able to access the connectors inside the door that connect to the wiring loom that goes through the rubber accordian. To remove the door itself, remove the stop for the limiter and then unbolt the door hinge attachments. Have a helper to assist with this part.
That's the best I can do from memory, you really should have a look at the Helm manual for the complete procedure.

To remove the door you disconnect the rather large connector located behind the passenger side kick panel and pull it through along with the rubber insulator, remove the one bolt for the slider, and four door bolts. It might be easier to go through the fender to get to the door bolts. Good Lock
For some reason I thought you were removing the passenger side, anyway the connector you must disconnect is located on either side behind each kick panel. You do not have to remove the door panel and all the wiring.
