Default Fun In The Sun Planning Thread

So, there's been talk of planning Fun in the Sun. While I won't be here for it, I thought maybe a thread devoted to ideas for t-shirts and activities would be good.

If anything needs to be printed, my roomie works for a printing company here in the valley. Not sure if I can get a deal worked out, but at least I can assure quality.

YES...t-shirts are a must! I wonner if Trendy Tz's (or however you spell it) would customize some of their Tach shirts for us?? Also, we need a place to gather before and after the drive. Earnhardt's can't do it this time. Any suggestions?!?!? Let's talk more this Sunday.

Is there a Honda dealer in Prescott? We could just meet at a Starbucks with a lot of parking (near a movie theater perhaps) before the run and end at the dealership for the bbq, and then cruise back. I think I would like that better than the round trip all at once anyway.

The first year we had the meet we had about 70 cars.. I'm not sure how many were there last year.

I'd say about the same amount this year. We split into colors for the drive - about 10 each or so - and there's 6 or 7 colors (MAN I'm gettin old!). Anyway.....I second Kirk's idea about not doing the full round trip all at once. There is a dealer in Prescott....it's on iron springs rd. Anybody know somebody there??

Doc and the team did a real good job....had a raffle, prizes for bestest car, big a$$ bbq, Sunday brunch, fri & sat night parties, etc.

Has anyone attempted to contact the OG AZ S2k guys about this? I never got to attend any of their other meets but from everything I heard they were very well organized. Who knows, if they see all of the people excited about it maybe they will join in and really get this thing going. Just a thought.
