Default Need help with rim cleaning

My Acura rims are driving me crazy, figured there are a few detailing nuts in here to help.

First the rims dust like crazy, it only takes around three days and i look like one of those guys that never takes care of his rims.

This winter i just can't keep up with them and i'm getting build up, i take it to the car wash a few times a month (i know but it's new and they do a good job, too dam cold to hang outside and do this myself).

I tried blue coral but it's not enough to get through and i'm afraid my rims will get to the point where i can't keep up with the build up, also use a soft brush but again i can't get through the build up.

Rims are stock A-spec alloys with i assume a clear coat, i know this is beyond the spray on and hose off situation so i'm looking for some way to brush or scrub the rims without scratching them.

my biggest problem is the surface area, the spokes have a space that's about as wide as your finger that run the length of the rim, crazy to get something in there.

Thanks all!

THE DUST IS JUST DUE TO THE SOFTER BRAKE PAD MATERIAL HONDA HAS IMPLEMENTED INTO THEIR BRAKE PADS SINCE 2004. MEGUIARS MAKES A VERY HIGHLY CONCENTRATED WHEEL CLEANER, THEY RECCOMEND YOU WEAR GLOVES WHEN USING IT THATS HOW STRONG IT IS. LOOK INTO THAT, SHOULD SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS WITH ALL THOSE FINE DETAILS ON THE WHEELS.

I use 1:1 simple green/water solution to clean my wheels (they dust like a mofo too) with a soft bristle brush; works great.

There is also a poorboys wheel sealant available that supposedly after a few applications, the brake dust comes right off.

I heard, maybe from Billman, that Pledge applied after a cleaning helps to keep the dust from sticking but I haven't tried that.

Markus is right. I have this stuff and it works like a frigging charm. You have to dilute with water 3:1 or 4:1 depending how concentrated you want it. You have to wear gloves and eye protection when using it.

Where do you live? If you want you can come to my house and I can clean those wheels...it probably would take not even 20 minutes.
