I'm betting a tuned/lightly modded s2k (sway bars, suspension, tires, gears, etc) could beat the CTR... but maybe thats just my wishful thinking

 

With the OEM lip and wing and the top up I think for sure he would have beat him.

the CTR driver was better than the s2k driver his lines were better which is why he won. 2 very good drivers s2k wins IMO

 

Lets put my car against that. Or just swap drivers in the cars.

Not trying to be a fanboi, but I gotta say I think comparatively speaking, the s2000 driver was weaker and I would have liked to see a reversed driver race. That's the one thing that always bugs me about BMI, you can usually tell the winner just by seeing which car Tsuchiya is driving.

Not surprising how fast the R is though. Always gotta respect the JDM R badge. But still, rear wheel drive for me.
