Default > Shoot'n the breeze, 2008 version

Valentine opened 07 with Shooting the Breeze. Patricia (Kyras) is starting the 08 version.

Kyras__ The title of this thread says...

Yesterday I did my last volunteer job at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, Cali. My last time offering newspapers, magazines and books to the patients. I turned in my nametag. I enjoyed doing that job. When I move down to Orange County within 3 months, I plan on volunteering at Saddleback Hospital down there, once I get settled in.

and Happy 2008! The kids took off awhile ago to fly back to FL, so quiet again. Nice visit. Getting ready to watch the Skins/Seahawks game.

Well, Vito is a military man, isn't he?. Officers are used to being in control. Let him enjoy the power -- until he discovers who is really in charge!!

I let him think he is. I'm home today with that nasty cold thing going around. Felt well enough yesterday to have lunch with Marco and Denise, but relapsed last night. Grrrr.... So I'm home today. Have an appt with the lawyer this pm and and going over there top down no matter what! Going to be in the mid 60s today.

Geez......everyone is doing the Pre-Nup thing these days.

Hey, if I had that neat new kitchen, I would also want to protect my investment

Sorry you're not feeling well, Deb. Hope things go well with the prenup planning. It is a very wise thing to plan as you are since in second (or so) marriages come with pre-existing children, etc. that can cause quite a problem in the future without such planning. to your foresight. Its good for both of you.

After seeing what my step-mom's kids did, trying to get my dad's money, I think a pre-nup is really important. Greed is an ugly thing and it's good to take the teeth out of it before it can happen.
