We are excited to announce the arrival of our newly developed Stage 2 clutch kit.
It sports a 6 puck-style dual friction lined disc. The disc materials consist of kevelar pads on the pressure plate side and semi-metalliac pad on the flywheel side.
The pressure plate adds 40% more clamping pressure over the OEM clutch and only increases the clutch pedal pressure by 15-20%. This is used in higher horsepower/torque applications as well as aggressive street/autoX setups. The feel is not much greater than OEM but the clamping pressure needed for forced inducted performance is not sacrificed.
This is being tested in a turboed, sleeved & built low-compression S2K that will be rolling in the next week. Updates will be given upon first feel of this clutch.
Come to the Dyno Day this Saturday and you can feel our OEM stlyed Staged 1 clutch and if this car is ready, you can feel this Stage 2 as well.
