Default SC vs NA vs Turbo

Last night I went out to the local car meet, as soon as I got there people were telling me they had a race for me. Apparently a guy with a turbo'd S2000 wanted to run. I found out he was turbo'd, had just been tuned, and it dyno'd 295whp. No idea what boost he was running, or what engine management, or why the numbers weren't better than that.

I'm SC'd at 325hp. My buddy Julio joined in for the runs as well. He just got his car put back together and he has a 2.2L AP2 swapped AP1 with a AP1 ECU and exhaust cam. He's been telling me that it's fast so we decided to make some runs too.

First run is SC vs Turbo. 2nd run is SC vs NA. As you'll see, they give a very similar result. The AP2 swapped AP1 was WAY faster than any NA S2000 I've ever run. When Julio (NA) ran the Turbo car he actually inched him out. Yeah that's right, NA > Turbo... don't ask me how. All runs were from a 40ish roll, up to 120 or so.

Boost leak, slipping clutch, bad driver? All of the above? Either way Nice kill, one for the S/C'd S2000 crowd!

So your friend just swapped an AP1 engine and AP1 ECU into an AP2? Wow that's fast for an NA. I wonder if that was a Greddy turbo? lulz

nice runs! a S/C setup can be deceivingly fast due to the lower, but flat to redline, torque! THe guy in the turbo s2k was either lying about his numbers, or had an issue with his car!
