I'm going to this... anyone else in? Weather forecast for Saturday (currently) is 40 degrees and mostly sunny for the day.

If it actually is that nice I will be driving the S, otherwise look for a silver Civic I want a sneak peak at the Roadsters too!

Sorry, I can't make it on Saturday. I'm looking forward to the event in early April though!

As an incentive...

I will be rejoining the museum as a member which entitles me to free admittance for this PLUS two (2) free passes for guests...

So - this event is FREE for the first two people who come with me

Otherwise I will hold onto my passes for the April meet and my two favorite members who attend will get one

Be warned that Head Chef (Dave) has a really good head start on getting one of those passes (Can you say Banana Cake? I knew you could.) Please Dave, no more of that though

I may check that out. I have my grandson for the day, but he likes to check out cars. Besides if the weather is nice he likes riding in Grandpa's yellow S.

I don't know if he will want to sit through the talk - I have no idea how long that will be. I think it's really cool they have an actual IRL team employee there, especially with the season starting soon.

I want to ask him if Chip (Ganassi) is as "interesting" in person as on TV

I saw Chip on a scooter at the Glen in 2004 (first IRL race there) about 2 feet away... so I said "Hi Chip!" OK, you had to be there

And then his damn driver, Scott Dixon WON - breaking my 9 year "Honda wins every IRL or CART race I go to see" streak (Back before Toyota gave up and was still supplying engines.)

I guess I jinxed myself

Ellen

Great idea. I just went online and check out their future events and they have some interesting ones coming up, so I joined online. I figured even if I didn't used it this weekend, I would use it over the summer.

I just added the Spring Car show on May 18th to my calendar. The write up sounded interesting and it's sponsored by Keeler Motors, where I got my S. Maybe I can hit them up for something prior to the show

I've taken my 80 Prelude to that show... 2 years ago I think it was Keeler invited my friend Brian with an S600 to be at the show and they supplied an S2000.

Keelers sells alot of makes... they also had an old and new Mini, old and new BMW and Mercedes. Something else to but I have forgotten the marque!

Saratoga also does a number of speciality shows later in the season. The S2000s MIGHT even be eligible to be part of the show under "future classics" class
