AP2 has a different geometry than AP1. Bumpsteer is much reduced. I wouldn't mess with it.

there are some interesting..."road/pavement defecencies" around where i live. namely one badass joint in the pavement at the apex of a freeway offramp that i take virtually everyday. every time i hit it i get tossed around like a rag doll.

when the front strikes this bump i notice the car jump to the outside almost as if it wands to induce ome understeer...then the back hits and the rear end feels like if it had its way it would just come about.

Could you be experiencing the effects of centrfugal force coupled with the lack of traction caused by the road irregularity and not bump steer?

i thought of that...centripital force and just the momentary lack of traction from the shock of a vertical impact.

is bump steer then more..."compression steer?"

I had what you are describing before, then I had my alignment done to the UK specs and I don't get that any longer when I hit the same bumps.

Just a thought.
