Default crazys s2k Detailed: 2005 Civic LX SE

Sorry, no before pics.

This car was pretty dirty. Salt, brine, concrete dust, mud, acid rain. Hadn't been washed in about 3 months.

Total Time: 6 hrs

Exterior:

Washed with Poorboy's SS&S, 2 Buckets, Gritguards, and white cotton/terry mitt.
Dried with Cobra Supreme Guzzler.

Clayed with Sonus green clay & Meguiars Pro-Detailer's QD.

Hood & Roof were compunded as follows:
1 pass with Poorboys SSR3 with Lake Country purple foamed wool pad
1 pass with SSR3 and yellow ccs pad 6.5"
1 pass with SSR2 and orange lo-pro pad 5"
1 pass Meguiar's #82 with white lo-pro pad 5"

Rest of the paint was done with:
1 pass SSR 2 and lo-pro orange 5" pad
1 pass Meg's #82 and lo-pro 5" pad.

Sealed with Werkstatt Acrylic Jett Trigger - 1 coat

Waxed with 1Z Einzett Hartglanz - 1 coat

Engine:
Washed with SS&S and Simple Green
Sprayed and wiped with CD2

Wheels, Tires & Wells:
Pretreated with Simple Green
Washed with SS&S and various brushes
Tires treated with Meg's hot stuff spray/excess wiped off
Wells sprayed with CD2

Glass cleaned inside and out with Invisible Glass.

Any exterior plastic was treated with 303 Aero
(wiper cowl, grill/bumper trim, etc)

Interior was wiped down/dusted and vacuumed. Nothing Fancy.

Alot of microfiber towels.

Sorry for the crappy pics, but it was the only camera I had at the moment, and it started raining by the time I got to take them.

Roger
Enjoy.

^Some beading from the rain. Not too bad of a wax!

wow, you were busy!!

i can see the shine, but wish you had some better pics-
wondering what you meant by "one pass"?
with the compound i am guessing you did not want to spend too much time eating clear coat so went only once over??

By 1 pass I meant I did the area with whatever pad/compound combo once, then moved onto the next pad/compound combo. I did work the product/area all the way through. Didn't really have to go to far into it. Came out really smooth, which was great!!

Will try to get better pics next week, after another wash, and another coat of wax

you can instantly tell the quality of a finish/wax by the size of beads of water on the car

i've got to say though, whoever took pictures of that civic, needs to buy a new bloody camera, cos you really don't get the effect.
