Default Speed Awareness Course

Hello all,

After a fairly major infringment of our nations statutory 'in town' speed limit, I have been required to attend the aforementioned course.

Anyone else been on one?

Matt.

(I knew I'd be able to make this post without a rant if I REALLY tried. )

I can quite happily say that I'm always aware of what speed the car is going at any given moment.

Not personally but I know someone who has.

Don't sit there and argue every point with the lecturer, all your do is drag the talk out longer than it needs to be, and everyone else will hate you for it, and probably beat you up on the way out

Sorry to hear your bad luck, FL.

Don't bottle up the rant; get mad and get even!

My idea of a speed awareness course is my favourite bit of road in the S2000, so I cannot help with your 1984 Indoctrination Day, Im afraid.

I have had a number of staff attend this course when caught by Humberside Police.

Saturday morning - videos, lecture - two of them admitted to coming out crying due to the nature of one of the videos. They hammer home 'speed kills' and as someone said - don't even bother arguing / debating any points - take your medicine without any fuss and it will be over in a couple of hours and you may get a keyring!

Half a day, just grin and bear it.
