Default TW/WTT HKS Hi Power Dual

I was thinking about getting something else. It's currently on MY02. The exhaust came with the car when I purchased it last september. I put about 8K miles on it since then.

I can provide pictures to whoever is interested but you all know what the HKS looks like. There's no cosmetic damage, maybe a few scratches on the bottom of the canister but no dents whatsoever on the canister or piping.

I'm open to trades plus cash if necessary. The car is my daily driver and sometimes the drone is overwhelming. I just want something quieter. Throw me some offers if you want to buy it outright, I'm not sure what the resale price is for it. If the price is right I'll sell it outright since I still have the stock exhaust. Thanks for looking.

you should just sell it or trade it for the apex ws2. i think hks is one of the quiter ones. i know because i used to have one. once i put my stock on, i had that faint disappointment from missing my hks. it lasted a bit but now i'm happy with my stock exhaust. g'luck on your find.

I thought the HKS was one of the louder ones, I also have a test pipe that came with the car. I haven't got around to installing the TP, do you happen to know how it would sound with the HKS and the TP?

I was thinking about putting my stock back on tomorrow just to see how I like it.

you're gonna love the way it sounds with a test pipe, but you will quickly regret installing it once you realize you cannot get rid of that test pipe smell.

eh...the HKS doesn't sound too different with the test pipe on or off, and yes it is definitely one of the quieter, if not the quietest exhaust for the s2k.

I've owned it twice in my time with my car...and to be quite honest with you...I don't think theres anything quieter besides the stock exhaust. If you want the exhaust note to be a little more throatier, try cutting out the resonator from the stock exhaust.

Thanks for all the input guys, I think I'll install the test pipe tomorrow and see how I like it. Then i'll install the stock exhaust on and decide whether i wanna sell the HKS or not.
