Thumbs up T1R Testpipe vs Stock Cat throttle blips

As the title suggests I put the T1R testpipe I got from s2sexy on this weekend and I did a quick video shoot of the before and after. After a quick drive though I got a loud rattle described in these two threads:

T1R Rattle

Rattle 2

I didn't have a gasket that comes with the testpipe, I looked for the OEM ring gasket as well but I couldn't find it. With the heat shield on, the rattle occurs at 4k-5k rpm and is quite noticeable after I let off the throttle.

Here is the comparison video:

I have no other exhaust mods and a K&N fipk on the intake end.

btw, if you have an extra gasket laying around let me know.

So, there is still a rattle after all the possible solutions that you have tried out? That's with stock exhaust and T1r testpipe correct?

tudernos,
yes thats with stock exhaust and just a T1R testpipe with the heatshield installed.

Veilside,
The rattle wasn't really caught in the video. I think what you're hearing in the first section of the video is just a noisy start-up because of a old engine.

Anyone ese have the T1R and run into this lately?

I have the T1R test pipe with stock exhaust and am not running the shield. I have no rattles at all.
