So how is it that S2krazy2 and tof were the only NOLA S2000 owners that made it over to WTD 2008?

Hmmm...considering how GREAT the event was...maybe we had so much fun because only TWO of you guys showed??

Seriously, we missed seeing more NOLA folks.

Any of you making it to the SESM in June??

Thanks for the love Raul!

Getting these guys to participate in ACTUAL DRIVING is like pulling teeth... unless of course you count the driving to and from the various eateries where they drool over new body panels, and cry over dings, rock chips, and paint swirls. They bitched nearly the entire drive to Red Bluff. But when they finally got there you couldn't wipe the smiles off their faces with a baseball bat!

You all heard it from THE man.... YOU GUYS NEED TO STEP UP YOUR GAME! ....then you can sport cool badges like my DRAGON SLAYER badge below!

HUH? I was around just about everyone at the Bluff and I didn't hear griping from anyone, just big smiles after the Run. Maybe it's not everyone's cup of tea to drive hours to North Carolina...I'dont know. What I do know is that we have enough interest to plan a track day. These guys maybe vain with there rides, like most S owners, but I wouldn't question there love to drive...not even the guy that has an exhaust fetish or mileage complex
There was griping on the way to red bluff.... I felt like I was in a minivan full of kids asking "are we there yet?" But like I said, their faces after the drive were priceless! They LOVED it.

The drive to North Carolina is LONG and PAINFUL I will admit, but ask anyone who has ever been to a Dragon Event and they will tell you that it is SOOOO worth it. That's why they continue to do it year after year. This was my first Dragon Event, and I will tell you straight up that it was the best weekend of my life! You never know if you're gonna like something until you try it, but it's kinda tough not to fall in love with the dragon. The whole experience is amazing. Meeting over 100 new people who share the same passion you do. Carving through twisty mountain roads with the sounds of vtec all around you. It is a once in a lifetime experience that happens twice a year!!!

You are very right about one thing... there is no way ANYONE can question my love to drive. I can't help it if I love driving so much that I want to share my great experiences with everyone else. Most people were skeptical about going to Red Bluff because it was a long drive, but after we TRICKED them into going, they loved it! The whole Red Bluff fiasco reminded me a little too much of "Green Eggs and Ham"

....and jeez, I'm usually the butt of most of the jokes in this forum (I tend to bring it upon myself ) but the minute I serve out some tough love I get jumped! What's up with that??

Damn! That's legit too. Because trust me, Sunday morning when Wake the Dragon ends you will really want that Flux Capacitor to go back in time to Thursday to do it all over again!
