Default New System installed thanks to all you guys here.

Got to tell you the search was tough on this site took hella long, but found all the info I needed. I can't believe what a difference just a 10" sub can do for this car. I can finally hear the base while driving.

Install took me 2 days to hide and tuck things away nicely. Probably longer than it should really take, but took my time on installing.

-Jvc Avx 11 head unit with Modifry DCI (use with steering wheel functions)
-Rockford p300.1 amp
-SWS1043D subwoofer
-wlaurent sub woofer box.

Heres the pics!

Thanks! I got the sub box from darksidesubs.com. Found it on one of the threads here. I really love the compact size of the box. Didnt take up much space at all. I still wanted the bottom deph portion of the trunk so this sub box allowed that to happen.

Are your front speakers stock and are you running them off the deck?

I've got the same box on the way, and will be putting in that sub in as well.

Do you think the sub box is too small for that sub? Can you crank it up and still provide clean sounding bass?

Thanks.

Had More time today and stop by Lowe's. The amp definately needed a bit more air. Always better to be safe than sorry. So I picked up a floor vent for $3.30 2"x10" and a can of rustoleum flat black from OSH. I'm very happy how things turned out. Here are some pics.

Thanks! I actually found the amp placement on one of the threads here. Someone put an older alpine model down there that appeared to fit without a problem. I went to best buy and saw the rockford amp and the new small alpine amp. Got to listen to both of them there and went back home and bought the amp and speaker from ikesound.com. It was half the price best buy was selling it for. Went with rockford since I can bridge the alpine sws1043d DVC for 300 RMS 2ohms which is what this rockford can do. 300rms 2 ohm or 150 4 ohm x1
