Default Won't be driving for sometime

Well, some of you might know that I am an avid cyclist if not you know know. Weds. after work I was coming back from a ride when I was struck by a truck (he ran a red light). After falling to the ground, the driver continued to flee while driving over my left leg (he was later caught and arrested). I was taken to the hospital via ambulance and just released this morning.
Monday and Tuesday I have doctor, surgery visits. The doctors were in disbelief because I had no broken bones yet all of my muscles, tendons, ligaments were either crushed or torn from above my knee to and including my ankle. They said I am not only lucky to be alive, but I am able to keep my leg. Because of my physical conditionI was able to make it out in my current condition. Unfortuanelty a break would be much easier to fix.
So for now I am bedridden and am still not able to put any kind of pressure on my leg. I'm hoping to be able to stand in the next few days.
Jim- I don't think I'll be making it this weekend.
Brew Run- unsure of current status. If someone wishes to take over, let me know. It took quite a bit of energy to get to the computer so I won't be online very much. Thanks all.
-Josh

Holy crap Josh, I'm glad you are OK, that is really scary!

We can play it by ear on the brew run and if there is sufficient interest I will try and put some stops together. It seemed like there were quite a few locations in the original post for this. Any beer people want to help?

Hope you are up and around soon!

Josh,

as a fellow cyclist I agree with everyone's anger, but that is not what's important.
Keeping your leg is way more important. I'm glad to hear that.
know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Holy crap... I'm always afraid of something like that happening. I'm glad to hear you're alive and in one piece, and that the irresponsible idiot was caught.
