Default DIY: oem exhaust mod

ok, this mod isnt for everyone, but if you are broke like me, you cant afford to buy parts all the time.... so i got creative. because the stock exhaust is so quiet, basically you drill a couple small holes and it sounds cooler.

tools you need:

drill
small drill bit (like a 5/16)

optional:

jack

procedure:

1.first, if you cant fit under the rear of your car, you might want to jack it up to get to the exhaust right before the mufflers.

2. pick a good spot on the pipe, then drill. i picked spots on both sides that you cant see unless you know they are there. the inside of the pipe is the most logical, but you can do it wherever you want.

i found that there is a point where it stops sounding cool. i drilled 2 holes on each side and it is just loud enough to sound cool. there really isnt a performance gain out of this mod, at least not that my butt dyno can see. pics will come soon.

Are you serious?

Why would there be a performance gain?
Why would you drill into a perfectly good, well designed exhaust system?

Yea, this isn't really that great of an idea. Take the whole system off and run open headeR if you are looking for a nice sound... lol

Best...Idea...EVERRRRRRRRRR!!!!

If you know how to wheld, why not buy a couple Magnaflow mufflers and wheld them in. It'd be around $150. The sound isn't all that bad either. If you can't afford that, then just leave it stock. Drilling holes n the exhaust pipe is retarded. No disrespect to all the retarded people out there...

Post a sound clip. I want to hear how "cool" this sounds!
