Air Control Valve==>big hose where connected?
I'm doing an engine conversion, can someone tell me where the big hose from the Air Conrol Valve is connected?
Is it going to air cleaner?
There are two hoses in air control valve. I am interested in the big one.
Thanks a lot

It's beyond me why sooo many people who buy S2000 drivetrains to put in another chassis won't buy the service manual that tells all about the car.

I found the page 11-9 but does not show where the hose is going.
There is a picture of air control valve but the routing of the hose is not there.

Big hose on the air injection control valve can only go 1 place, and thats to the outlet on the air pump.
I appreciate the help.
Do you think I can block or not use the air control valve without the ECU complaining?
I don't have plan to include or install an air pump to a racing car...do you think possible to bypass this unit?
Thanks again
Sorry for the double thread, I included a picture on the other thread to make sure
everyone knows which part I was referring to. I'm not too familiar with the s2k engine.
There is no bypassing the air injection system with a stock PCM. The monitor the PCM runs to verify it's correct operation is too complicated to simulate or fool. You can use a a AEM EMS or a JDM (mugen, spoon Etc) PCM that eliminates the OBDII emission controls.

What is the symptom if there is no air pump supplying the engine?
I don't care if there is an engine code as long as there is no hesitation or other related engine problem. If just the code, I can live with it.
It supplies fresh air at cold start that is injected in the exhaust ports, which bring the catalytic convertor up to temp quicker. You'll have about 3 DTC's without the sytem, and never know if you have a real problem with the CEL always on
