Default Berk Testpipe CEL problem...

so I recently was told by my technitian that my catalytic converter was officially screwed. I replaced it with a Berk testpipe which is said to be CEL free on a AP1.. (mine is '01) Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do?? ( I DO NOT want posts saying "just put your cat back on" because ITS BROKEN!)

So you bought the TP and you're getting the CEL?

Weird, mine didnt throw a CEL in all the thousands of miles ive had mine. I doubt its the test pipe itself since theyre all pretty much made the same. Maybe its an O2 sensor issue? Not exactly sure what it could be. Get the code pulled just to be sure. Free at autozone.

If you add another "CEL fix" it places the O2 sensor farther from the stream of the exhaust.
