Default Looking to purchase new near Miami...

I prefer White with Red seats. Any dealers/employees willing to help?

Currently talking to Rick Case Honda but willing to take business elsewhere if bottom dollar pricing/financing is available.

Thanks!

Don't buy from Rick Case. PM me and I'll tell you where to go.

Why is a secret where to go? Why not just say it?

No secret on where .. just not Rick Case. And I'll supply some tips I've picked up over the years. I have a mental disorder, New car syndrome.

Actually I'll just post here. I'm curious on feedback and any other tips anyone else can add. I just don't want sales people to get in on this discussion. They are almost always full of crap.
Here is what I sent to him after he PMed me. I'm waiting for his response.

Silver2, just respond in this thread.

I'm in Homestead but willing to travel as far as WPB for the best price. I've already been pre-approved with Honda Finance and have excellent credit.

Thanks for the help! "

Me-
First I want to tell you I love buying new cars. I guess it's the challenge that gets my blood flowing. Second, I'm not a dealer or sales guy. I have just bought a lot of new cars in the past 5 years and have seen it all. I would like to pass some of that info on to others. I have a few questions for you.
Are you sure of the car and color?
Did you check insurance rates for the S? It's a shocker.
if yes to the above:
What's your target price?
Did you reseach what dealer has the car and color in stock?
and IMO forget Rick Case. I'll tell you why later.

Well I got up early this morning and went out car hunting. Didn't check this thread before heading out.

Test drove a brand new Cayman S - 6sp, 2000 NSX - 6sp, Exige S 220. Went back to Rick Case Honda and purchased a brand new Black with Red Interior for 31,000 OTD. I was happy with this deal and it includes the standard Rick Case Rewards package of free car washes for life (would never drive the S through though), discounted gas at their dealership, 10yr/100K extended warranty and some other stuff that I really couldn't care less about.

I went with my buddy that has a brand new vette. I also worked numbers with a local Chevy dealer and they were willing to move any 08's for 37K (base.) Plenty of speed but I wanted a more visceral car and the S2K just does it for me!

Any tips on things to do right off the bat? I didn't let them wash the car but are there any other things that I should do now like crank vents, etc....

The very first mod is to buy seat locks. PM Kodokan_4 for them.

First drive the S2000 until you get out of the break-in miles, then worry about doing any engine/suspension etc mods.
