Quarter Mile Times
I want to know what kind of ETs you guys are running with your N/A S2000s
There is a dyno thread, why not a quarter mile thread?
I am considering many different N/A modifications, but i would really like to know which ones make the biggest differences in the 1/4

Im sorry if i offend you but you are defeating the whole reason for owning a S2000. The designers didnt go through years and years of trial and error to make a car that goes fast in a straight line. leave that to GM, Ford, and chrystler. they built this little lack of torque high revving roadster for the road course. If your into drag your in the wrong car

i think this thread is a good idea, who is to say the s2k can't drag race?
I was at atco the other day watching my buddy run his Boosted GSR-swapped EF hatch and there was a stock as balls 2005 yellow AP2 running 13.7s all day. I talked to him for a little and he feels like hes lacking on his launches and could get even lower. So yeah, its not that it isnt a drag car, its just a great handling car. Besides, since when was a honda civic hatch back designed for drag racing? Or for that matter anything but a mustang, camaro, or vette. There arent many purpose built cars, hence why we mod em.
4.77s in an ap2 would be nuts with a 9k redline + some quick shifting.
I think we could easily break into the 12s with gears and some decent boltons + Tune ... Oh and a good driver.
Also saw a few S2ks running high 15s.
