I have the Neo 35 MP3 player hooked into my Sony audio system and have been singing it's praises for some time. Whilst surfing today I came across this beauty, and dang am I jealous!

Neo 5100

Talk about the best of most worlds!

Thats pretty sweet. But no AM? just kidding

Make me wonder why more companies aren't coming out with things like this.

Must have that

I was planning on building a wireless computer system into my Civic, but this is what I need. OMG... I am so amazed, you have no clue.

Nice find Aus. This brand is new to me. I was planning on purchasing a Linx OS Empeg receiver (http://www.empeg.com/). The problem is they run upwards of $1000.

Anyone know how the Neo 35 compares?

I have a Neo 35 already and it's brilliant. It slides into a cradle in my PC and acts like a normal HD. I load a kajillion MP3's into it, pull it out, stick it in the car cradle (which is currently attached to my home stereo) and whammo, over 1000 songs (about 6Gb).

Wesmaster has one in his S too, with a whopping 61Gb hd.

But I'm sorry, this Neo 5100 is the ducks guts. It will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine.

One word of warning. The boys at SSI America couldn't find their arse with both hands tied behind their backs.

Buy it from Neo MP3 Players. At least they seem to know what they're talking about.

That does look really cool. I wonder why they left AM out? I don't listen to AM much, but there are times when I want it and I wouldn't want to go without it.

It's great to be driving down the highway in the middle of nowhere and be able to pick up an AM radio station from 500 miles away.

hmmmm the Neo's look really nice...one question about the NEO 35 though....does it to have a remote turn-on lead (to turn on amps)? This really looks like a feasible thing I might be able to do within the next day or two

Sorry, the Neo 35 has nothing like that. Infact all it has is a red wire, a black wire, two RCA's and a head phone jack.

Mine is powered direct from the battery through a relay triggered by my head units switched power.
