Default got bored, so i hacked up my audio controls...

hey guys, after seeing some other members relocating their gauges to the audio control area right above the start button. i thought i'd give it a shot and add to my car's sleeper theme.

here are some quick snapshots:

what it looks at night:

two shots with flash:

REVHIR's original:

definitely, not as clean as REVHIR's install, but it's better than my previous location (standard a-pillar position). it's out of the way of the main view, but in easy sight when you want to keep tabs on your afr.

some notes:
-i have a headunit, so i had no use for my audio controls from the get-go.

-i cracked the switch assembly cover due to my impatience (anyone know where i can get JUST the cover? looked on hondaautomotive, but could only find the whole assembly)

-you have to gut the inside assembly (i dremeled the hell outta mine)

i'll probably try to make it cleaner later, but for now, i got the relocation i was looking for.

thanks for looking!

That is very clean. I might do that!

I'll remove the panel later and shave the ch and mute button per your suggestion.
