Default Noise Problems, LOUD *vid posted!

Ok I have the rattle/ticking/knocking noise and cannot figure it out. Its extremely loud, gotten worser over time. From idle to about 2500RPM, the noise is there but after 2500RPM its very VERY faint, and just seems to stop. Noise seems to be coming from the front of the motor. Would the TCT noise go away after a certain RPM? Could it be that the guides are worn? I do NOT track my car, motor has about 33k mi (AP1). Oil level is fine, btw.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is my DD and Im kinda paranoid to drive it!

Does the rattle stop after a little while of idle?
When my tct was worn down, there was a rattle sound lasting for a few seconds after I started the engine. It got worse for e few months before I replaced it. It stopped after reving it a little, so it could sound like it's your tct that needs replacement

no the noise never goes away, just after about 2500RPM's...

maybe ill have to order a TCT ...so no second thoughts on if it COULD be worn guides? ive had a couple people hear it in person and suggested it could be the guides ill try and find my camera and post a quick vid of it, soon.

i personally do not know how to do this, but there are threads that discuss it. try a search.

The part is about $120. Takes about 10 min to install...but I'm sure many shops will charge for more time.
