FS: 2000 Honda S2000 - $6000
i've had this car for about two and a half years, i daily drove it for over a year and a half with no issues besides a blown fuse. i replaced the alternator before finding the fuse, because i'm stupid. so there you go, it has a faily new alternator.
i'm trying to save money to move to japan this summer, so she's gotta go.
kbb says $6725 in fair condition. fair condition assumes some fixes need to be made, so i've listed what i consider reasonably below this value to get a quick sale so i don't have to pay insurance on a car that i don't drive anymore.
car has 139,000 miles, give or take a few hundred. car has a clean title. i'm still making payments, so as soon i get paid, i get the title from the credit union, and it's yours.
please send any questions to clay.josh@gmail.com and feel free to give me a call at 314 599 8404 any time around or after 6pm during the week, anytime during the weekend.
general description:
the exterior has seen better days. i let my mom borrow the car for a while because hers was down, and she apparently isn't the greatest at judging curb distance. so the paint on the front bumper is pretty well scuffed up, it could definitely use a fresh coat. besides the front bumper there are just a few nicks here and there.
the interior is completely stock and in pretty decent shape. the driver's seat of course has been worn down from getting in and out of the car a billion times, but overall it's fine.
driving-wise, the car handles great, all the suspension is original, oem stuff. besides the time where a fuse was blown, causing the alternator not to work, the car has always started right up and ran.
issues:
has a check engine light, i think it needs a O2 sensor behind the cat (since i had to replace the cat, i'd imagine the sensor is burnt out). beyond the O2 sensor, i'm not sure what else is wrong. codes being thrown by the ecu include something about air induction, misfiring, and the O2 sensor.
since it has a check engine light, i think the ecu runs the car in safe mode, which causes it to idle weird until it warms up. after the car is warmed up, it's totally fine.
needs a new soft top, it has a few tears and the old plastic window is just decimated. i usually drive the car with the top down, so it doesn't bother me too much.
pics:
here are some pictures from a while back, this is before the bumper got scuffed up. besides the front bumper, the car's identical.

$6000, no trades, thanks!
if you would, please send any questions to my email, i've got this listed on a few forums and it's becoming a part-time job to keep checking them =p
