I will be coordinating a trip across the Delaware Bay from Lewes, Delaware, to Cape May, New Jersey, on the Cape May/Lewes (pronounced lou-iss) Ferry on Friday, May 8. Note that this is the shortest distance to Cape May for those coming from the south and west.

EDIT: We will be making the 2:45 PM crossing, with a 1:45 PM rendezvous.

I may be able to make this date. I couldnt do the full SF due to a family commitment. I live in Lewes about 2 miles from the ferry so I will let you know. The earlier time is better for me and I would plan on returning early evening depending on what is going on in Cape May with the group. If I can make it anyone going is welcome to stop by my home before heading to the ferry.

I would like to join you but it would mean I would have to leave home awfully early. I am going to take the return ferry Sunday morning. I need to put Delaware and Maryland on my list of states.
