Perhaps it is because English is your second language, but did you not see the large letters on the side of the R888 that say "FOR COMPETITION USE ONLY"? Of course a track tire is not going to last very long when used on the street. That's not what it is designed for.

You want to know if you can put new tires on the rear with older tires on the front?

Yes you can. Just make sure all the tires have enough tread.

And that they are all the same compound, as in R888 at all 4 corners and nor R888 at one end and k105 at the other end.

The reason they did not last is because they are not a street compound tire, they are a competition tire which means the rubber compound is very soft.

Soft rubber equals a lot of grip and, low mileage ratings.

You can't get grip like an R888 offers and expect to get a lot of miles out of them.

Like a couple others have said above, you are running the wrong tires for a car that doesn't get driven on the track. Look into something like the dunlop z1 star specs or bridgestone re01r. They might cost you a little more but should last longer and will provide more than enough grip for a street car even if you are going out to have fun from time to time.

Im running Toyo Proxie T1r tyres on my car and they are excellent on-road grip and also proven better than R888 in wet weather.

Mine have lasted a long time already, seems like they will last me a fair amount of time without even thinking of changing them soon.

Remember keeping ontop of tyre pressures are vital so your tires last longer but as a few have said already, the R888 is a soft compound tyre for track use so it isnt going to last long if used on road.

maybe you're running too much negative camber.
less negative camber will result in longer tire life but less handling capacity/ability
