Wink K&N FIPK Dyno Results Comparison

Sup S2k junkies,

Been doing a few weeks of build research, and the first part that came in was the K&N FIPK. I couldn't believe the gain, but at around 6.5k both hp and tq was increased around 10! Peak hp increased about 5.5 and peak tq increased around 8. Both hp and tq improved along the entire powerband.

Well, it is an 01 AP1, so they are a bit rich from factory, but still...below are the vids on the dyno runs (4th gear pulls) and the dynojet scan.

I was very impressed with the sound of the FIPK, and enjoyed the drive home. = )

4th Gear Stock Run

4th Gear Intake Pull

I plan on making a build thread soon, so be on the look out.

Peace,

Erik

Unless you are driving with water coming up over the hood you are not going to get Hydrolock with the K&N system.

The K&N has about as much of a chance of hydro lock as the stock intake (extremely little IMO, unless your going fishing in your S2K)
