I don't know if anybody cares? But I just installed the K/N AirCharger System to my S2000 and I like the results! It really gained Hp! It sounds a bit louder (meaner, I think?), It weights less than the OEN AirBox, it doesn't require cutting of my car, and very easy access to the Air Filter! I give it 3 thumbs up!

I'll try to go out right now and take some pictures of the System on the car!

I was so tired! After I posted the thread, I went out and took some pics. Please forgive me that the car is dirty! and the wiring and hoses is still a mess right now! I was in a hurry to try to get the Dyno done ( I installed the unit myself to save money. The car was still strapped in at the time. So, I was just trying to insatll as fast as I can and get it done)

Also notice the rubber seal around the New airbox was not neatly installed, because I was in a hurry. But everything fits under the hood, See one of my picture with the hook support runs right over it and I can drop the hood and close it with no problem!

I had Cosco Strut bar on my car , but I had to remove it because of the clearance. I'm not sure if I can reinstall the bars over it, I'll try it later!

Here is the airbox shown with the hood support over it! It clears everything!

I wonder why they didn't just seal off the filter like Comptech...I would expect this would limit heat soak from the engine bay...

I think the HOOD actually seals it? The rubber gasket around the "Box" is about 1 inch "tall" and it's soft and it will "give" when the hood closes to make the seal. I can't really describe it with words, You have to see it or just imagine it?? If you have seen some of the K/N products in the VW and integra, then you will understand how IT works, but it does! Look at the Dyno printout.

As long as I didn't loose Hp, i'm pretty happy! Plus I lost the weight of the stock box!

Really looking good! One question: was the stock air filter fairly new? Dirty filters are known to decrease hp, as SteveUCI knows .

I am even MORE considering an aftermarket setup... I even think I can still use the Spoon scoop with either the Comptech or K&N! Comptech would just require some cutting, I think.

Hum..............? My stock Air Filter was a bit dirty, but the car only have 8,500 miles on it! But I thought 199 Hp at the wheel is pretty good stock isn't???

Without Force induction I have really not seen any S2000 have more than 215 Hp at the wheel? Or are there any?? Please let me know and what set up do you have???

I was thinking about getting Single Titanium Exhaust after this, but the guy at the Dyno told me that they had one guy here in Atlanta spent over $5,000 with CAI, Headers and Exhaust installed to his car and lost about 15Hp then stock??? I was just curious which combos of Mods that I should do without spent useless money?? If I can gain only 5-10 Hp from a $2000 Exhaust (and lose some weight), I think that's too expensive! As for this K/N setup for under $300, and lost some weight from the OEM BOX; I'm pretty satisfied!
