Default Put CR front sway on MY07

Very easy install. I didn't even take the wheels off. With everything else stock (Potenza RE 01R), the back end sticks much better. I can put down much more power in the corners now. Ride feels the same, just a bit more transfer of bumps from side to side.

Hmmm... were you able to use the stock bushings/mounts or did you have to switch over to the CR busings and mounts. I know that they CR is bigger but in the case that you switch, the holes still lined up fine?

I ordered from Hardtopguy and got the bushings too. It fit perfect with the CR bushings in the stock mount.

Well, if the below is true, than some AP1s will (should) see the same change as AP2s. However, the AP1 has a larger rear bar.

Sway Bars Overall diameter X wall thickness
00-01 Front 28.2mm X T5.0 - Rear 27.2mm X T5.3
02-03 Front 26.5mm X T4.5 - Rear 27.2mm X T4.5
04-07 Front 26.5mm X T4.5 - Rear 25.4mm X T4.5
08-? Front 27.2 X T5.3 - Rear 25.4 X T4.5
08 CR Front 28.6 X T4.5 - Rear 26.5 X T4.5

just to let you kno, getting a stiffer front bar will not help the back stick any better, a stiffer front bay will just make sure the front slides out before the back, so it may seem that your back is sticking more, but in reality its just sliding out after the front, to make the back stick more you get a smaller sway bar for the back

Well, yes and no. The stiffer front bar will transfer more "load" from the outside front wheel to the inside front wheel. The weight taken off the inside wheel has to go somewhere. While accelerating, some of that weight is transfered to the rear. Thus, allowing more power to be transfered to the ground through the rear tires.

More rear traction is why auto-x drivers use stiffer front bars.
