Default Need to replace my coil packs

I'm getting a engine missfire 1399 code and have replaced the plugs. I suspect i have a bad coil it just occures at high rpms. Rather then just go with oem does anyone know if its worth the money to upgrade to better ones and if so what kind? Anyone out there running upgraded coil packs?

Do a search for Okada.

Okada Projects are very VERY nice, but are more expensive than stock. These spark multiple times to ensure a complete burn in the fuel mixture; you will probably notice an increase in low-rpm driveability.

Justify the extra cost by installing it yourself as opposed to OEM's plus labor

What improvements did you get from them? Anything noticeable?

I was just looking online and they are close to $800. Stock ones are $300. You really think they are worth more then double the price over OEM?

Perhaps they have gone up recently but when I got some prices about 6-8 months ago they were a bit under $600. Still a big premium but if you are interested try E-autosports here on the forums. I seem to recall they had them.

In any case, I would do a simple swap with another 1 or a whole set to make sure that's the issue.
