Did a full 2004 conversion for my S2000
I place an order from HardTopguy.com on 13 April 2009
1) Front Headlight with ballast
2) Tailight
3) 2004 Radio door

Spoken to Jeff on the phone and say that all item is in stock and will sent out all item once money is receive. I make a credit payment 3 day later.

Finally 2 week later i receive the tailight with all harness. But the 2004 Radio door was not found. So i email to jeff and he reply this to me:
(It should have been in the first box with the tail lamps. I guess it never made it in the box. I'll get one shipped to you today)

It u forget to place it in the box just say so. Why tell me it should be in the first box??? I call him and he agree to re-sent the radio door to me.

3 day after i receive the tailight, the headlight was in too.
To my surpise only the headlight and Igniters was in the box. Worst is thet HE sent me a used igniter. So i email Jeff and attach picture of the used igniter and ask him what wrong This is what he reply again:

(They were all in the same box. Everything is new. The package may have been opened but the part inside was new. Honda doesn

 

Anyway, that's unfortunate. I don't ever plan on buying anything from the internet anyway.

 

 

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. But I personally know Jeff has come though for a ton of owners. And I'm one.

My diff blew at the Dragon a couple years ago. Jeff had a replacement for me in a couple days. He did right by me.

 

I've never had a problem using hard top guy...

Ok ok ok... Jeff is probably the most respected vendor on S2Ki. But you are not the first person to start throwing flames at Jeff in the past couple of weeks. Apparently Jeff is busy/out of town/ .... who knows. But I can't ever recall an instance where Jeff never came through and I like many others here have known him for years.


While it is unfortunate that as of today you still have not received your radio door I would like to remind you that today is 17/5/09, not 20/5/09. So it has been 11 days since your last correspondence with him, 7 days minus weekends.

Hopefully Jeff will get back with you soon but I think your "Do not buy from HTG" campaign is a little exaggerated and emotionally driven by a transaction that hasn't yet to come to completion.

I've dealt with Jeff and he's good peoples. Probably busy at this point for some reason.

But coming from a pacific islander...

 

I've never had a problem with hardtopguy.
