Default California Pop Top

Well obviously with a CR, if I have the top off there is no protection against the elements. I leave park it everywhere with the top off so I wanted protection in case it were to rain...in comes the California Pop Top. It's weatherproof and very compact to carry in the trunk of the s2k without wasting valuable real estate back there. I have just ordered it and am looking forward to keeping this in my trunk just in case I need it. The plus is that its protects against UV and heat build up.

It would be a great option for older Ap1 owners with the plastic rear window who park outside to prevent it from hazing or cracking. I can see it being useful for all non-cr s2k owners as well to prevent the soft top material from fading.

For 50$ (USD) I think it's a fantastic deal.

Understandable since the CR only comes with a hardtop.
But, if you had a soft top, it would be annoying to put this up all the time.
Fading? I keep a bottle of 303 and shop towels in my car and wipe it on when I have time.

I agree it can be a little bit of an annoyance for soft top owners. He it would be an annoyance for me to put it on as well which is why I would only put it on if its raining out and I am stuck somewhere. Has not happened yet, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared. Also good for me when someone is not there to help me put the top back on.
