Default Smoke and gas mileage?

I noticed some smoke come out of my car when i gunned it today. Would this be in tie with my bad gas mileage i've been getting (as in unburnt fuel)? The only performance mod I've done is the greddy TiC single exhaust. If this is the case, how would I be able to improve/change this?

Thanks.

hmm...That's what I was getting when I had an intake, header, testpipe, and single exhaust. hmm...maybe just drive less aggressively I know that's alot to ask but maybe that will do something. I know I drive like a grandma right now. I rarely ever hit VTEC. maybe once every couple of months

boo grandma lol i get on a full 250 to when the light turns on (at which point i fill up) and i drive her pretty hard. all i have performance wise is aem cai w/ a k&n filter on it, megan racing exhaust and skunk 2 springs, but you should start by checking the basics like the flow to and through the air filter (upgrade to k&n you can clean it) , tire pressure, new oil change. but 22mpg is not sooooo bad if you drive like i do sometimes haha

get it tuned, that's the only way to improve/change it.

Thats not a major cause of concern that smoke came out when you got on it. (It happened to me today) Probally means your getting all the crap out your system.
