i just purchased the stayfast from them and absolutely love it! looks so much better than the denim. basically the difference is the stayfast is cloth and the denim is the plastic like OEM. the guy that helped me put mine on commented and said the he should have aprung the extra hundred bucks or so for the stayfast cloth. its a much deaper black. just dont skimp and buy the dang plastic window. it will eventually turn to crap again. i also bought the EZON brand vs. the Robbins. the only bad part was that you have to make your own straps for it, but i think its just the ones that topsonline has. no worries though we figured it out with a few simple measurements from his car that had already had the glass window conversion.

Or why dont you just buy a robbins top? Cheap, great quality, I speak from personal experience.

The stayfast is a very good looking top. I get compliments about it a lot.

How hard was it to put on? Does your top sit as low when down as oem did? I have seen peoples that won't go down as far.

I've owned both Robbins and EZ on (currently have EZ) and really liked them both. EZ is less expensive by appx. $200-300. I had it professionally installed for $300 and it goes all the way down. Both cloth materials are much better than the OEM vinyl. Here's a bad pic of mine since it's overexposed and it looks lighter than the SS color... it's actually slightly darker the silverstone. Check ebay for topsonline auction.. sometimes the price is a little better than their website.

Thanks Chilidip. Just found/bought one from them on ebay and it was about $50 cheaper. $489 with free shipping.

I installed the robbins one on my miata and it took nearly the entire 2 weeks of winter vacation perhaps it was the trouble of modifying the straps to accept a glass window.. or handicapping caused by beer drinking.. who knows. The professionals did it in a day and I am really happy with it. Btw-like the post above, these do not come with straps, so if yours are worn out, then I would purchase them separately and install.

Miata tops are a major PITA to change. The S is pretty easy.
