i need to replace my top also. it seems that stayfast is a beach to maintain in contrast to the denim. at first i was thinking about going grey with stayfast but the safe color was black and in my situation i'd prefer the denim due to lesser maintenance issues.

perhaps it was the trouble of modifying the straps to accept a glass window.. or handicapping caused by beer drinking.. who knows. The professionals did it in a day and I am really happy with it. Btw-like the post above, these do not come with straps, so if yours are worn out, then I would purchase them separately and install.

xrapidx: it is called medium grey on their color list. Call them, they'll mail you a sample swatch. sorry my pic is not a good representation of the actual color.
dopesilverstone: sorry, I didn't need to replace my straps so I'm afraid I don't have answer for you.. I'm sure someone on the forum would know.. hopefully they'll chime in.

ok so i orderd the less expensive hv denim with glass window no defroster, hope it is a good buy read some good overall reviews and it has a 5 year warranty, it sounds pretty promising. my only challenge now is the install and with my lack of patience and the est. 8 hr install its not gonna be fun....any local bay area s2k'ers feel free to chime in for a soft top install day lol
