I guess I'm not gonna get an S2k for a while... my old civic ex was totaled so now I'm looking to upgrade. Don't have enough money for an S yet :[ so I have to settle for a EM1 it looks like. I don't know too much about them, anyone wanna give me some insight into them/fun facts? :]

 

Get a Miata instead. Will perform better, cost less, and be less likely to get stolen.

 

Really? I'm not a Miata kind of guy.. I feel like I'd be betraying the S... thanks for the input though.

 

FWD coupe betrays the S more than a miata...

 

The Miata will be a lot more fun to drive.

Loved my old EM1 but the constant fear of theft was a bit too much to handle.

 

Where are you from? I live in Philly and theft is a big issue here but I've had my old EX that was customized for 4 years with no problems up until it was totaled.

 

You may want an EM1, but you have to take in account the amounts of thefts there have been. I'm sure the last thing you want, is to get a shiny "new" car just to have it end up being stolen.

 

S2000's are cheap now, what's your budget?
